Act together and collaborate on grassroot actions with Native Horses

Create sanctuaries for wild horses,  help local associations protect free-roaming horses, participate in webinars and discuss creative expression and ancestral cultures.

ReSET: A research group around traditional knowledge and ecology, legends of horse in Europe, in the indigenous cultures of Mongolia, in the Americas and Africa.

 

In collaboration with the Cheval Communication Association, High Chevreuse Valley PNR, the group of research explores the traditional knowledge  of the horse,  and traditional ecological knowledge among others by

- Studies on the myths of the horse, in the Amerindian cultures Diné, Lakota, Apache among others, and in Europe: Translations and comments of published texts and ethnographic works and transcriptions of interviews and testimonies. In 2023, monthly publications and translations into French:

- In collaboration with Rebecca JEANSON and l'association In the Footsteps of Horses: study and translations of scientific publications on traditional horse knowledge (Medicine Horse Way),   the characteristics ofnative horses pre-Columbian and thedeconstruction of European mythson the horses of America with  le Dr Yvette Running Horse Collin  

 

- Actions to preserve indigenous knowledge and information days with the traditional practitionerClayson Benallyin partnership with the EQUITERRIA association of Dun, in Ariège and  the associationthe Arts of Being in Etampes (91)

- Days of action and awareness-raising in the field near BONNELLES (France, Yvelines), among other things through wetland preservation with high ecological value ( See full project HERE)


 

- Practical and experiential exchanges with places dedicated to the well-being of horses such asThe Legend of Tara, EQI Harmony, The Tribe of Philiain Corsica,
 

- Actions aimed at promoting the creation of sanctuaries for free horses,  in Corsica, in the Yvelines, but also by helping local indigenous communities, such as that of Gray Mountain, Flagstaff, Arizona  and in the Black Mountains, South Dakota

With Cheval Communication, we pay a lot of attention to avoid the cultural appropriation of Native American ceremonies sometimes encountered in New Age circles and to  the validity of transmissions of Native knowledges .:  See our positions and our ethical charter HERE

The Research Group meets virtually, or in person, monthly. Participation is voluntary and voluntary.
